How to Apply and Remove Your Nipple Prosthesis

Applying the Prosthesis

1. Wash and dry your hands and the skin where the prosthesis will be applied.

2. Practice positioning your prosthesis without adhesive first. You can mark the correct spot with a makeup pencil.

3. Using the dropper bottle, apply a few drops of adhesive to the back of the prosthetic nipple and spread it into an even layer.

4. Wait about 2 minutes until the adhesive becomes tacky (sticky) before applying.

5. Position the prosthesis on your skin and press gently but firmly to ensure good contact.

Note: During the first few hours, the nipple may slide slightly before the adhesive fully sets. If it shifts, gently peel it off and reposition without adding more glue. Avoid doing this repeatedly, as it can reduce the adhesive’s strength. Make sure to clean the glue residue from the previous spot using a Q-tip dipped in remover.

6. If the prosthesis doesn’t stay in place as expected, please refer to the FAQ page on our website or contact us directly.

Tip: If you want to know where to position the nipples, the well-known method is to use to use an equilateral triangle (as shown in the illustration) starting from the thyroid gland and opening into an equivalent triangle -You can use a ribbon or any string to measure.

Removing the Prosthesis

1. Gently lift the edge of the prosthesis and peel it off, similar to removing a band-aid.

2. Spray a generous amount of adhesive remover directly on the nipple and rub it gently with your thumbs and fingers until clean. Then rinse with soap and water. Repeat if needed.

For thicker adhesive buildup, use a slightly textured cloth (like jute) and scrub gently with plenty of remover.

3. Once cleaned, the prosthesis can be reused or stored in a cool, dry place.

Taking good care of your prosthesis between uses will help prolong its shelf life. Make sure to clean it thoroughly after each use.
